So last night we were invited to my brother's house to celebrate the New Year.

All night I was looking at my watch in anticipation to see the progression of the perpetual calendar at work!

This is one of the first photos where the 2011 has just started to roll.......

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/BPPC%205026/L1090916.jpg

Here you can clearly see the top of the "2" starting to appear, and the month & dates hands started moving.........

Everything is almost half way to the new year!

Right at the stroke of midnight and none of the perpetual hands are in place yet.......

I was fortunate enough to be looking at the dial when the '2' snapped into place........

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/BPPC%205026/L1090933.jpg

Back on my wrist to enjoy the rest of the night!!!!!

Great pictures Nad, I hope the rest of the bunch understands your passion for watches :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

PS: since I don't have a Perpetual yet, I decided to wear a watch without date at all. It does have a special feature though, a true 24-hour dial :-)

Happy New Year Nad - I have mental pictures of my PPC doing the same but I missed the point when the 2 in 2012 clicked into place - I was too occupied shooting off the fireworks :-)

Happy New Year Nad. As usual great photos of a great watch. I forgot to check mine and so it was with trepidation I looked to see if it has performed the year change properly. Pleased to say all was well

Happy New Year to All IWC forum members and of course to the people at IWC itself.

    Hi Nad,

congratulations on the watch and its great behaviour - and your wonderful documentation.
There's only one question I have:
Didn't your family think you're mad when you only got eyes for your watch during the date change?
Probably they gave up hope already. ;-)
Happy new year - enjoy your watches in good health.

Great photos Nad. It's always a joy to watch the perpetual calendar change at the end of the year. I guess the next time we see more pictures from perpetual calendar owners will be at the end of February 2012 since it's a leap year.
