To my thinking, the Worldtmer has a sufficiently in-house movement. Also, it is about 20% less than the new Doppel, and that can make a real difference to many here.

That sounds a bit expensive. If I remember correctly, the UTC with a similar movement used to cost about 50% of the price of a corresponding Doppel?

I the decision is to go with the WT, may I suggest one with an ardoise dial and a white outer ring. It would look something like this:

That dial looks pretty good, although I suspect the date wheel would have to be black.

    Roberto, my Brother,

How could leave the out the star of the show, the Sidèrale? Granted it would be impossible to make one that we could all share, but a boy has to dream, right?

Maybe we could have a Little Pilot? something around 44mm with the BP crown, no PR and center seconds?

    Just a late night thought.

    Hi Larry and Roberto,
The idea of a BP without the Power Reserve Indicator is one I have been promoting since the BP was introduced.
This concept would make a perfect CF Pilot, even if the date window remains. The watch already exists. All it would be required is a new dial (without the PRI) and appropriate case back engravings.
Count me in. Where do I sign up? :-)

Less is more philosophy. Considering it would be done just for this forum, now this would be another watch a would buy.

I'm honored to have same taste of you guys, being you within those collectors I've always admired and whose path I modestly try to follow.

If I could draw my perfect watch, it would be a modern military Ingenieur. Based on the VC Ingenieur with the Pellaton winding, just like the original.

Only if made amagnetic. If not, count me out.
An Ingenieur must be amagnetic, much like a Pilot's watch, and as much as an Aquatimer needs to be waterproof. Otherwise, is just an expensive fashion watch.

Clepsydra, I also value anti-magnetic protection in a watch that will be used regularly in work situations and during air travel.

That's another great looking watch. I would get this one too!

I would just take the broad arrow off, we're not the MOD, we're more, we're the IWC forum!

    :)

EDIT: in order to avoid misunderstandings, MOD stands for Ministry of Defence.

I would love to see an IWC with day/date, but without chronograph, with in-house movement and anti-magnetic.

    Antonio and all

A BP with no PR is the ultimate and definitive nominee for the next CF Watch in my opinion too my friend.
