Second Thoughts?

I just ordered a steel bracelet for my blue aquatimer which I purchased last year; I bought it because I enjoy the quality/fit of the bracelet on my mark xvii lp. Now I'm struggling due to the fact that it's a relatively high cost, and there's no micro-adjustment. Anyone have any feedback on wearing the bracelet with the 3767-11?

You don't say if you already have the bracelet and if it is uncomfortable and/or does not fit your wrist properly because of lack of fine adjustment?

Or, if your "getting cold feet" ...

What I can tell you, is that the bracelet is super comfortable, looks real cool and has all the quality of an IWC bracelet which are truly among the best in the industry.

Having said that every wrist is unique - and of course it's possible that the standard setting is just to tight etc. However, your AD should provide the service and work with you to then ensure you have a half link to add or remove the half link and replace with a 3/4 link ( for lack of a better name - the last link on the bracelet which sits as standard against the clasp).

You won't regret the bracelet - enjoy the anticipation if your still waiting for it.

I have a 3239 which is on a different but similar bracelet as the 3767 and also lacking micro-adjustment. I love the design and comfort of the Inge bracelet and in this regard I fully agree with Mark that IWC's are among the very best (if not the best) in the industry.

However, I have noticed that my wrist changes in size quite significantly depending on temperature and activity. While removing/adding links is very easy, it's nevertheless not something I want to do very often. I shall never say never but I will most probably not buy another bracelet without micro-adjust. Also considering the price category I think it's right to expect more in terms of convenience and perfect fit that a micro-adjust provides.

How much your wrist varies in size is of course individual depending on your circumstances. If you know from experience that it does vary and less than perfect fit bothers you, I think you are right to question whether this bracelet is for you.

I purchased the previous Aquatimer - 3568 with the bracelet and then went out and purchased the rubber strap alter on as it was more economical this way - yes, the bracelets are very expensive when you purchase them on their own but even then they are worth every penny.

Enjoy the bracelet for being one of the best bracelets in the industry - micro adjustment or not. They come with a half link that you can take out / put back in quite easily and when combined with a full link I find that there is not much need for a micro adjuster - whilst it would be nice to be able to adjust a bracelet by less than a mm each time, I find it doesn't really affect the comfort.

I love IWC bracelets because I haven't seen any better yet.
You will never regret.
It's not cheap but cheap is for sure NOT what you want, right?

Update -
I received the very nice AT bracelet yesterday from my AD (out of state), and it didn't fit, unfortunately. Took it to a local AD and they determined the "quick-change" pins were slightly mal-formed, causing the bracelet to not attach. They tried my bracelet on one of their AT's, and it didn't fit, but the bracelet from their watch clipped quickly onto mine. Just a bit of a hassle to have to return and get a replacement. The dealer said these things happen from time to time. Anyone have similar issues with a bracelet ordered separately from the original watch?

No similar experiences but that's really annoying I must say.
