I’m reaching out to this community of experts to learn more about a watch that has a very special place in my heart. It originally belonged to my great-grandmother, and I’m now looking to honor its history.
After opening it up, I found that the movement is marked as an IWC Calibre 60.
I would love to know more about the rarity of this specific model and its movement. Since I am hoping to have it restored or at least maintained, I am also wondering if anyone happens to have—or knows where I could find—service instructions or technical manuals for the Calibre 60?
Any insights into its production era or advice on its care would be greatly appreciated.
