    Hello all,

First and foremost I apologise in advance if I am posting in the incorrect area, happy to accept guidance if so.

I have finally purchased my first expensive watch and yes it had to be a IWC more specifically the chronograph automatic Portuguese with the white dial and rose gold numbers.

Would love to take a photo but unsure how.

I wanted to know how often should one have their IWC service to ensure its efficient use and the cost of and turn around time. Currently a resident of Australia.

    Any information would be great

First, congratulations on your Portugieser Chrono. You will love it.

Second, here's how to post photos. Do so quickly. We love them.

Third, and this is my opinion only, I have service when it needs it, not on a predetermined schedule. However, there will be a time when lubrication will be required. I'll let others chime in here with advice. Your AD can arrange service at one of the IWC Service centers. Cost and time are variable depending on the service done.

    Great, thanks for the info

Is it quite normal for when I move the internal rotor slightly vibrates the watch? It seems when I try to listen to it close to my ear I can hear it like it's not lubricated?

It's difficult to diagnose issues on a website, but, having said that, rotor noise is common and okay. If you are really concerned take it to your AD for a look see. I think you just need to enjoy your beautiful IWC and relax.
