exactly right Thang - it was a 5002 imprint :)
Hajo - brilliant ! had it been a german dial, I would have gotten it too. in fact, I am looking forward to getting a non-english dial for an IWC I like - good to start learning another language :)

Here is my Spitfire Mark XVI.

It's hard to compete with some of the great watches posted here. But, here's my Pilot assortment.
My favorite and classic 5002 BP

On my wrist today and also a daily wear fav: The 3711 Doppel

An Alan Ross Blue favorite dial: The Laureus Spitfire.

Lastly, one that gets virtually no wrist time for some reason. The St. Ex Power Reserve:

Great thread everyone:
Blue dial Carlson today. Stationary shot here. LOL

A contribution from my girlfriends collection

It started with a request to have the Mark XVI MidSize with a brown leather strap. I was only able to find one with the black strap - but my AD was able to easily get the strap from Schaffhuasen - within a few minutes - goal achieved.

It really is a SP - small pilot on my wrist but it has the effect of a BP on her wrist - I will negotiate with her to get a wrist shot in due course.
A classic Mk XV is missing,
as well as a 3713 together with some classic warbirds,
a couple of UTC's,
and I think the smallest of the pilots at least relating to the dial.
With TOP-GUN strap:

The North American T6 Texan aka Harvard - she taught several generations of pilots how to fly. She also went to war flying low and slow, but carrying a mean and accurate punch. The 3717 is also not bad. :-)
