It is beautiful in gold!
I strongly considered ref. 3741 in S.S. on bracelet a few months ago. It's a very interesting and rare piece and the bracelet is just fantastic, slithers like a snake! It caused me more than 1 or 2 sleepless nights, but I did not get it in the end, as I had made a mechanical only rule with myself. (it is still available so I might just weaken and get it one day)

this is the IWC OEM strap in brown buffalo leather with white stitching. After a while this turns to be more beige of course. A very fine strap that looked and wore fantastic. Ref. number I don't have unfortunately. Neither do I one of the waches. My first was the Mark XV then came the UTC. Sold them together. Then came the Pilots Chrono then the Spitfire Double. Sold them together.
So I happen to be an Ex-Pilot :-(

Yeap, at least till May this year. I’ve sold the chrono to a friend of mine. I just keep the UTC for traveling.
