Hi guys,
Can those attending SIHH please ask for an update on IWC Connect, the smart watch attachment built into the strap that IWC has already announced in March 2015. Would be good to know if they will offer this as an accessory for existing IWC watches as well.
Many thanks,
Louis
Looking forward to more reports and pics. Especially the 40mm white dial Pilot.
And for me a very special one. Love it, an amazing watch, the timezone.
you turn the bezel and the hour hand changes to the timezone you indicate on the bezel.
Great pics Tonny, thanks a lot thats what we "working forumers" need this days.
Keep the pics and Infos coming.
Have fun.
Cheers Chris
This one looks very special indeed. It must be seen in real life too, I guess, on your own wrist most IWC watches look even better than on pictures. That happened to me with the previous Worldtimer.
Kind regards,
Paul
I like the concept of timezoner chronograph a lot, but I'm afraid the 45mmx16,6mm dimensions makes it rather cumbersome to wear, especially if one travels in traditional "business attire" with collared shirts etc...
Maybe IWC could consider another variant of this technology. Something with a bit less of a tool watch look and feel. Maybe something for the Portugieser product line with dimensions of, lets say not bigger than 43mmx13mm. OK, I understand this might be challenging with the 89000 based movement, but maybe with a movement based on the new in-house caliber, which I hope is coming in near future...
Thanks for keeping us long-distance-want-to-be-at-SIHH people informed and included Tonny:-)
Any pictures and impressions of the two heritage pieces?
Loving all the photo's, thanks Tonny.
Is there another "Father and Son" release?
Thanks,
Jonathan
I agree with you on most points. IMHO all these calibers (like the 7750) have cca. 30 mm diameter so an approx. 40 mm watch (ideal size for many) is also possible to produce, no problem here. I would love a 40 mm Pilot chrono with the new 69xxx movement in a 40 mm case with a narrow 60 minutes count-up turning bezel. The best news that I find in the Timezoner is the first ever turning bezel on an IWC Pilot Chrono.
Best,
Robert
Thanks for the great updates, I'll be checking in regularly for updates. Have a great time there guys!
Kind regards,
Clemens
