Christoph, there are no half connection links included but I have 2 and 1/2 connection links left.
Yes it is pretty tight but I don`t like it slack around my wrist. May be I have to add a half connection link in summer.
    Regards, Lutz

Congratulations on finding this lovely watch. It was interesting to read the whole story and I agree with you that this one fits your wrist perfectly. I have the same wrist size and am very happy with the 3227 in steel.

Enjoy your lovely Inge and wear it in good health.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Thank you Clemens and thank you altogether.
Indeed it is a great feeling when you found your watch (or one of your watches - to address the collectors among us :-) and you know this is the watch that fulfills your desires and you are sure your watch - if it could talk - would certainly say: "ok my dear you suit me too and I must not be ashamed of you" :-))).
Thank you to all of you!

    Regards, Lutz

Well, quite a find these days, a titanium 3227 on titanium bracelet. A great looking watch with all the benefits of titanium, like much lighter than the steel version. Congratulations, and enjoy!

    Kind regards,
Paul, owning exactly the same watch

Lutz, we all love stories with happy endings...and this one is indeed a great happy ending for you.

That watch looks perfect, and rightsize on your wrist.

Enjoy, and wear in good health.

    Best regards

Nice resolution. There are a few of these still floating around. You were lucky to find one.

    Thanks to all once more.
Yes I was very lucky to get this 3227 in titanium - it is 125g that is half the weight of the steel version (the dealer told me).
I don`t care very much about the weight of a watch because after ten minutes of wearing you forget the weight. But it is an interesting detail.

May be here a little other detail in addition.
I grew up in Schaffhausen and I know IWC since I could read the time. I saw those famous IWC watches times and again in the windows of the IWC-dealers already as a boy adoring them like objects from other worlds and it seemed to me absolute exclusive worlds beyond my reach.
Yesterday I started with my first own IWC - I love it and I am very proud of it - a wish came true and the wish that came true looks very good - even the backside of it.

    Regards, Lutz
