I figured I might as well join the fun and give my input on the new AT lineup. For some perspective I own a Split Minute AT and used to own the AT 2000.

Right off the bat I have to admit I like almost all of the new lineup. I am mostly attracted to IWC because of the practical and/or unique engineering they apply to most of their watches. The Split Minute is an example of a practical yet unique complication in a dive watch you can actually use. The DaVinci Chrono movement with it's practical and unique way of displaying the chrono results appealed to me. This year, and for me more so than last year, these new additions feel like IWC moving forward and being innovative.

The Deep Two is especially intriguing to me and depending on what else we see may be one that might need to join the Split Minute AT. Hmmm, should I wear one on each arm while diving? Why not!!!

I personally like the new Aquatimer 2000 more than the last version, at least from the pictures we have. There may be a similar look to some others but that is not what struck me at first glance.

I would definitely like to know more about the Galapagos AT with the vulcanized rubber finish. That will need to be seen in the flesh to appreciate, I suspect.

The gold AT chrono is interesting because of the movement but I am a diver and so the gold just doesn't work for me. Having the in-house movement creates so many future possibilities though. I am glad to see the 89360 appearing in other models. I am crossing my fingers that there will be some more with that movement appearing in a few days.

As a side note: I am curious about the colors being chosen. They seem okay other than on the gold chrono. Does anyone know if IWC tests the colors at depth to see how visible they are as color is lost starting with the red band.

Okay IWC. I give two thumbs up on your first salvo and I can't wait to see the next group.

I agree with you on the Aqua 2000...

...but I just love that Rose Gold AT Chrono on the black rubber strap - amazing.
