Enroute to Singapore last Thursday, I dropped by the newly renovated HK International Airport boutique, and was greeted by the great Ms Jasmine Pang whose hospitality always shows no bounds, and brought up 2 particularly interesting pieces...

the official picture, and announcement here www.iwc.com/forum/en/discussion/58656/:

The brown on the Inge is a fair bit lighter than I expected based on initial computerized representations. I had expected a darker chocolate brown. Is it really that color or did the lighting in the store throw it off?

In any case, it looks nice on the brown strap.

Dick - it really is a bronzy, golden brown. Much lighter than the IWC photo makes it appear.

    Gents,

Sorry - this is the recently announced new Vintage Collection Ingenieur edition 2012 'One of 500 pieces' in steel.

The reference is the 3233 family - and I forgot to ask for the specific 3233XX reference.

The FA Jones Tourbillon with a blue dial is a very limited edition, first showcased @ SIHH a few years ago.

@ Thang, re my 'first blue', yes - working hard on it - as u can see in this post, lol: www.iwc.com/forum/en/discussion/58686/

have a great week ahead gents.

    Shing,

Thanks for your always great investigative work!!!

I was quite curious on the color of the new limited edition Inge, and it's really nice that you posted these photos. I have a much clearer idea now.

    Cheers!

I still can't tell what that watch really looks like. In some pictures it is deep chocolate colored. In others it looks light tan. Hmmmm.....

    Aloha Shing -

I've stopped by the HK International Airport three times since January and I have to agree that the staff there is excellent!

While passing through in July they almost sold me a watch that I wasn't even intending to purchase and fortunately I had to leave to catch my plane otherwise my wallet would have been a lot lighter for the long trip homeLOL

Thanks Shing, I also forgot about that site. The picture you posted I believe is Alan's current watch on the left and his future watch on the right. LOL
