My New S/S Da Vinci, that I told you about early last week, has got to back to the IWC service centre.
While I was looking at the watch one night, I noticed that 3 of the luminous dots were not lit up.
So after some checking and the use of a torch I realised that the dots above numbers 4,5, & & 6 didn't work.
So after some telephone conversation between my AD and IWC, it has been decided that a new dial will have to be fitted. And that has to come from Switzerland!!
At the same time they are going to adjust slightly, the date hand as its not lining up of the date correctly.
All this should take approx 2 weeks.
To say that I am disheartened, would be an understatement.
I hope to be able to report better news next time.

    No Worries Topcat ...>

These kinds of things happen in life, but we need to stand strong and focus on the good. Which in this case is two fold. !. Warranty coverage is something to smile at. 2. Focus on the moment when everything is correct and she is sitting happily on your wrist...This is what imaginations are for, to get one ready to receive the positive result.
