Hi I just got a portugese 2nd hand. Is there supposed to be a spinning sound when you flick your wrist? I'm guessing that's the sound of the movement. Does anybody else hear this sound?

The sound you hear is probably normal, but it's hard to diagnose things like this via the Internet.
What model Portuguese did you get? A Chronograph or a Portuguese Automatic with the 7 day movement?

MasterI love that sound of all the automatic watches of IWC
some aere better to hear (the AT 2000 is very loud)than others
but rest assured nothing wrong with that!

Mastermy 500114 Portugese Automatic, makes the same clickety-click sound as you move your wrist, making the motor spin.
