    Hello all...

Nothing too fancy for my first post, but did anyone catch the short video posted to the official IWC Instagram account earlier today featuring a Spitfire 3777 on a strap. Does anyone have any info with regards to this particular reference or its availability?

    Here's a link to the video: www.instagram.com/p/BCaWcArFttE/

    Thanks in advance...

Hello Dave and welcome to the forum. The video you linked is a little curious. The new Spitfire (ref. 377719) will have a slate grey dial with white day/date wheels, but this dial appears to be black. Also, the Spitfire is to come on a steel bracelet. The new black-dialed Pilot's Watch Chronograph (ref. 377709) is supposed to come on a black Santoni calfskin strap, and the strap in the video is brown. It may be the edition "Le Petit Prince" (ref. 37714) and the blue dial just appears black in the video. The hands also match what I expect to see on the edition "Le Petit Prince". That watch will have a blue dial with white day/date displays and a brown Santoni calfskin strap. All of these references should be available later this year.

Its definately a novelty - if that dial is black and not blue!

So I would be inclined to agree with Ben - its the Le Petite Prince Edition.
