Good afternoon,
after about 40 years I found an IWC watch which I received as a present in about 1965. On the bottom side you see the number 715311. Glas and dial have to replaced, but the clockwork appears to be ok.
Does anyone know this model? Do you think it will make sense to reapair it?
We will need to see some Photos - butit sounds like a Cal. 85 timepiece and if genuine, will definately be worthwhile having done-up/serviced.

Also, if you Google "IWC vintage Catalog Project" most of the older catalogs are there and you may spot your watch. I am somewhat doubtful since yours is relatively old for a square model.
