Good to hear you got a new watch after only a short delay. Now, start enjoying that beauty and wear it in good health!
Kind regards,
Clemens
Very good question ... A bit obvious? Still a great outcome with a good reflection on the brand.
Well, a good brand would have instantly reacted; if you have to go this way in order to be treated as a valued customer, I think I would reconsider buying a second watch of that brand.
MP3MUSIC,
I like your photo of the new 5001, I like your Tag too, I like the travel watch case, I like the key ring. Most of all I like the fact that IWC provided some complimentary gifts to help soften the inconvience.
With this incident now behind you, time to enjoy your new Portuguese. Hope it brings you many years of happiness. Wear it in good health !
Cheers,
Andy

Is this then opening the gates to getting the expected attention?
That was quite story. Anyway, all the best with your new watch.
Out of curiosity: where was the AD in the entire story? Formally you bought the watch there. He/she bought the watch from IWC. If there is one person who should have compensated you, it is the AD.
My experience with IWC is that people are very responsive and helpful.
BTW: I agree with Dick's (whichwatch) comment about IWC's response.

Did'nt the mis-spelt PP bring multiple times over book, i seem to remember it did.
I can't see anything wrong with these watches. Can someone please explain what you are talking about.
Think it's the missing (?) half-baton at 3...
That's the only not ordinary thing that I can find in the picture.

Glad that all worked out ok at the end - but why didn't you notice this when you bought the watch in the store at the first place ?
I am shocked that this got through QC. I learnt recently of Microscopic differences in some cases that were deemed not good enough to go through. A bit like seeing the forest but not the trees.

I agree with you, Anders.
