    Hello,

I've bought my first IWC watch and found something interesting after I picked it up from the store and came home.

It had "7" at the location of "8" and "8" on the location of "7"

I bought it from AD which is even more surprising!

I think I will return this but it was bit of disappointment as it was my first purchase of IWC :(

I'd leave it that way. I guess it's a one of a kind IWC watch ;-))
Interesting to see that so many people missed it and that it passed quality control....

It's like a unique coin. I would keep it. It's a great conversation piece.

I was thinking the same - Amazing that EVERYONE missed this including myself (IWC, Sales person, myself) :)

It is for wedding gift so might have more meaning - UNIQUE!

I guess my only question is - Is this repairable? I know it is "UNIQUE" piece, but would IWC repair this at no cost?

I would return it. It is a nice gimmick for a short while, but for that kind of money I would want it to be perfect.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Perhaps it is my eye, but the 8 (where the 7 should be) has an odd rotation, and the 7 does too. I would ask the AD to deal with this one and give you a replacement.

If this isn't a belated April fool joke, then it is a great embarrassment to IWC "quality" control.

Definitely not a joke (Not Fake) - I was shocked about this too.. I was too excited about getting new IWC watch and didn't realized until I've got home and it amazed me it missed my eye, salesperson's eye, IWC's quality control eye.

Thank you everyone for the comments - I will go to AD and ask for a replacement.

I guess Quality Control are so busy looking for minor imperfections they missed a major one.

I am sure IWC would change that dial. And I guess without you even asking. In fact you may have a problem retaining the dial when it's in for servicing. I would treat it as like coins or stamps that have flaws, some collectors love such errors and if you can keep it that way it might become a valuable collectors piece. Either way it is a great conversation piece.

    This is really astonish!

Everyone has been mesmerize by the dial and not noticing the flaw.

I hope iwc do an exchange instantly as it should not be even allow to be sold in the first place.

This watch is perfect for someone who needs a good excuse for being late to their 7:15 appointment.

Photoshop work, and not even a good one. Show the same watch from different angles if you want to prove the contrary.
