It is my honor to reveal the latest addition to my collection, the CFP. I prefer calling the CF3, the CFP ... The Collectors' Forum Pilots' Watch. The other two Collectors' Forum Watches were called the Collectors' Forum Ingenieur (CFI) and the Collectors' Forum DaVinci (CFDV). The third deserves its full name too. Originally, I did not order the CFP when offered to Collectors in 2014. I knew it was a mistake. It is with both joy and sadness that I now have this beauty in my possession
This CFP, #15 of 250, belonged to Giovanni Ambrogio our dear friend who is sorely missed by his friends. A few of us were lucky enough to acquire part of his collection. I picked up the CFP at the BBAMSGTG last week. It in not mine alone; I share it with Giovanni and my memories of him. His name will always be engraved on the back. The CFP is my memory of Giovanni just as the Galapagos AT I got from Kevin Devine is my memory of Kevin. Both of these friends left us much too early in life.
