I think this is getting ridiculous. Probably going to need some type of approval process for new members.

I hope someone gets on top of this soon. The spam is clogging up the most recent posts area and some legitimate threads are moved out of the sequence before we can see there is a new post.

Since yesterday, IWC and the software agency have been working on it. I've been out of town (meeting with IWC in NY) but have deleted over 80 discussions or posts. The work-around is not simple, but IWC is on top of this.

It will get solved. If the Spammer is reading this and if I have my choice, he will face criminal prosecution.

Serving 1-100 years seems perfectly reasonable as they will do it where ever they can.

I don't understand the marketing plan for this nonsense. All it does is pi*# every one off. I would not frequent the sites if the stuff was free.

agreed - and I would add these two:

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
    Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped.
    Elbert Hubbard (1856 - 1915)

This is not spamming, more like a DOS attack. There should be a single butyon to resurface the latest thread on banishing the rubbish threads. May be new membership application should also be suspended until this got sorted put.

Some of the idiots have been lurking since August and others October, so suspending new forum membership is a bit late.

What is the purpose of all this stuff, each section they load it on has about 90 of these pieces of garbage and I will lay odds that at approx 08.00 UTC we will wind up with another load of old rubbish as they did this morning. They have the mentality of retarded hamsters and that's almost certainly an insult to the retarded hamsters of this world!

It's unbelievable that the software acency is not able to protect a forum against spam attacks. IWC should have spent more money to contract a more competentent agency.
