We all know the three IWC DFB Editions which were issued in 2008, 2010 and 2012. But there is a fourth edition. In preparation for the Football World Championship in 2006, the German National Soccer Team made some preparations inn Geneva. There they alto took a watchmaking class by Kurt Klaus in the Hotel La Réserve in Geneva: DFB-Team absolviert Techniktraining der etwas anderen Art. There each member of the team also received a IWC Ceramic Double Chrono 3786-03. This is the same als the limited Edition Ceramic Double Crono but with the name of the player engraved on the back. So this is a fourth IWC DFB edition, but i think we should call it the Zero Edition since it was issued prior to the other ones and not available for sale.

MasterInteresting. I wondered whether there were earlier editions. But I think the real DFB watches need the German flag colors along with the football emblem engraved or etched onto the watch.
Nevertheless, good detective work on your part.
