While I was in the basement photo hideaway taking pictures of my CFP, I took some shots of my recently serviced 3711 Doppel Chronograph. Although it does not get enough wrist time, it certainly deserves to be seen here and perhaps a bit more wrist time too.


One of the unique things about the 3711 vs its successor, the 3713, is its domed crystal. It's hard to capture it in a photo. Another difference is the use of Tritium markers and hands, the T Swiss T dial. The 3713 has neither the domed crystal, nor the Tritium hands/markers. You can see the Tritium has aged now to it glorious patina look. The 3711 was only manufactured for a brief period before IWC changed over to the 3713 model of the Doppel. W
