    Hi there gents :)

I have currently set my mind on a 3227-11 with the salmon dial which was a LE for the Japanese market. I still need some thoughts and fundings to make the final call.

In the meanwhile, could you gents provide me of some 3227 awesomeness? If someone happens to own the one with the salmon dial please share some pictures of it :). But hey...I don't say no to pictures of the CF1 or the 3227-01 :)

Have a great day gents :)

Here you see my deliberate choice, the titanium Ingenieur. At the time this to me was the super model of the range: new exciting in-house movement, and light and practical titanium case and bracelet. I still think it is the best 3227 ever produced. But that salmon dial you are trying to track down is such a beauty!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Hi Ghandi,

You can't go wrong with the 3227, imho one of the most iconic sports watches ever made. After about two years of searching I eventually found a Salmon dial 3227-11 and bought it in a heartbeat (they only made 200 for the Japanese market and most of those are still in the Far East). It's hard to capture its full beauty in photos, but as you can see, it has quite a few different looks depending on the light.

The merits of the 3227 (design, movement, depth of dial, bracelet etc) all hold for the Japan edition, with the added benefit of one the of more unusual dial colours. The dial is always a cool talking point with watch aficionados. If you can find one I say go for it!

i share that sentiment too.. maybe if you count the first one and then version 1 and version 2.. about 2000+ were made excluding the original MEs.
