So today at noon, I walked into the IWC Boutique in the Palazzo and asked if they could change the battery in my Timex. However, I've been in there enough in the last 24 hours so that they all knew me, and I survived the joke.

Seriously, I'm here in Las Vegas for a few days and just happen to be staying at the Venetian, which connects with the Palazzo, were the boutique is to be found.

Many beautiful watches and knowledgeable staff. The manager and I have been reviewing photos of the new Pilot line as the photos become available, and I've been considering my next IWC.

I've also been considering a Santoni strap in dark brown for a deployment clasp, plus the clasp, for my Vintage Collection Ingenieur Laureus. Thoughts?

Hey Frank, time to go back to visit the Boutique, but this time take your camera, LOL!!!!!!!!

The Santoni will look great on almost any watch. Are you planning on the Brown shade or the Black? The Browns have more character in my opinion.

    Keep us posted!

LOL! Even cell phone shots are appreciated around here. The Santoni straps are pretty enough to wear with no watch attached : ) You can't go wrong.

I'm here fro a few more days and will be going back to Boutique and will take some photos. I figure it's cheaper to hang around the Boutique than to go near the casino.

I'm considering the dark brown Santoni. I think it would look terrific, if a bit unconventional, with the midnight blue face of my VC Ingenieur.

Did they have a black Santoni, and if they did, did it look good?

My vote would go to the dark brown Santoni.

I don't recall. I didn't look at black because I already have a black IWC strap on the watch (which brings out the blue dial very nicely) and was really thinking about the brown.

First, I'll be coming home with a Santoni dark brown strap and deployment clasp for my Vintage Collection Ingenieur Laureus and will post photos in due course.

Second, as promised, here are a few photos of the Las Vegas Boutique.
