Before dinner we gathered atop the Okura Hotel for a cocktail hour.
Once again, I will let the pictures tell the story.

On the left is Natascha, Giovanni’s wife. With her is Mark L’s wife, Annemarie and Fritz T.

Right back at you Christian,

Tonny and his bride, Sabine, along with Arne M.

What an outstanding menu. The food as always is spectacular with impeccable service.

My favorite, dessert.
It certainly got quiet during dinner.

A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Adrian v. (alwaysiwc) on the missing caliber 100 / 1001.

Our special attendee, Natascha Ambrogio. I am so happy she joined us in celebration of Giovanni’s passion and memories.

Jarrod’s much better half, Steffi. Steffi is a very knowledgeable collector in her own rigtht.

Another famous Tonny quiz that only few got more than one answer correct.

We were honored to have Bas from the local IWC Sales organization join us and bring along the new IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Classic models with the new calibre 69000 movement.

Wrist shots with the new models.
Now, for the obligatory table shot. The 22 collectors at the dinner brought out their heavy metal…65 watches / Pocket Watches. It was an amazing group of IWCs.

Ralph picked up an amazing Zodiac PW while in Amsterdam.

There were a total of 28 attendees. We had to huddle outside the meeting room in full view of the restaurant diners. We were asked to be exceptionally quiet while posing …something that was hard to do. It was like trying to herd cats.

Once again, this was the best ever AMS GTG. Outside Schaffhausen Events, this has to be one of the larger group of collectors together at one time to celebrate our passion and friendship. It set a high bar for next year’s 6th annual BBAMSGTG in 2017. Thanks to Mark for his making this a reality. Thanks to the Amsterdam IWC Boutique Staff, the NL Sales Organization, and to IWC Schaffhausen for their support of the IWC Collectors’ Forum.
