Before dinner we gathered atop the Okura Hotel for a cocktail hour.

Once again, I will let the pictures tell the story.

Now, for the obligatory table shot. The 22 collectors at the dinner brought out their heavy metal…65 watches / Pocket Watches. It was an amazing group of IWCs.

There were a total of 28 attendees. We had to huddle outside the meeting room in full view of the restaurant diners. We were asked to be exceptionally quiet while posing …something that was hard to do. It was like trying to herd cats.

Once again, this was the best ever AMS GTG. Outside Schaffhausen Events, this has to be one of the larger group of collectors together at one time to celebrate our passion and friendship. It set a high bar for next year’s 6th annual BBAMSGTG in 2017. Thanks to Mark for his making this a reality. Thanks to the Amsterdam IWC Boutique Staff, the NL Sales Organization, and to IWC Schaffhausen for their support of the IWC Collectors’ Forum.

As already written by Christian - a day to remember. Although very short to be able to talk all of the collectors. During the dinner in the tight space it was easier, we were nearer each other :o)

Thanks everyone again for taking part in this unique experience. Thank you taking the pictures and share them with us, Bill.

Thanks a lot Bill for the report and all the brilliant pictures. This was my first BBAMSGTG and it was a great weekend! Thanks to Mark, Tonny, Bill and others who made it possible. Some of us stayed an extra day and it was a bit of a problem following all the different sports events going on in the world. Jarrod found a sports café though, where there were enough TV screens to watch Formula 1 qualifying, soccer and rugby simultaneously.
Thanks to everybody for a great time in AMS.

Fine looking collectors, fine looking watches, and a fine event. Enjoyed the tour- my only regret is I was not able to be there.
It's nice to see a re-appearance of some of the original collectors, as well as new faces I hope to meet in the future.

Hi Bill, I'm really sorry I was out of the country and missed this special meeting my friend..... but you outdid yourself with these 4 (!) magnificent reports and fantastic photography!

It felt like 'being' there and I'd like to thank you, Mark and others for organizing and sharing these special occasions with us here on the forum.

These are excellent photographs of an excellent event. You documented the essence of what makes this forum so special...fine people sharing a passion for a watch company that supports that passion. The table shot says it all! Attending a BBAMSGTG is high on my priority list for my next IWC event.

The drinks and dinner were truly fantastic, the pictures show so well what we were doing, and how we enjoyed it. A very interesting part I found the presentation of Adrian about the jubilee watch that never was. And about the handling of such a project.

Although the dinner was the end of the event for most of us, it continued the next morning, where a small group went strolling through Amsterdam, looking for vintage IWC watches. The event ended for me after a great lunch at the Americain hotel/restaurant, famous for its art deco and great down to earth food.

All in all, a GTG to remember for a long time, thank you all!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

More than everywhere else the spirit of IWC collectors was present in Amsterdam once again. A special thank you to Mark Levinson. During the last years Mark has become a true IWC ambassador, representing IWC in a remarkable way. He brings people together, organises events in a perfect manner, finds watches and rare parts for other collectors all over the world and comforts those who were left with a great grief after having lost a loved one.
    Chapeau!
    Adrian,
    (alwaysiwc).
