    I would not combine that ref. 3227 with GG, because the only IWC models with GGs active participation were ref. 1832 and ref. 3003 and the gold variants.

    The ref. 3227 design is based on the later ref. 3303.

    Tnx Hebe but the whole Ingy story was based on Genta's design. So all models are influenced by Genta :)

    The "whole Inge story"? The first ingenieurs were launched in the early fifties, long before Gerald Genta and the Ref. 1832.

    What Gerald Genta did, was to "re-invent" a in the 1950ies and 1960ies very successful, but in the mid seventies old fashioned line of watches. Not more, but for sure not less than that.
