This bracelet is available for the new classic Mark XVII and Fliegerchrono (Ref. 3777) as well as the new Spitfire models. It's just slight more costly than the prior bracelet, and really nice.

    First, there's a micro-adjust system:
     http://www.iwcforum.com/articles/2012a/Link-close.jpg
It's the same system as used in the Da Vinci bracelet; you push on the buckle in one place and can move the bracelet by each of the notches.

Second, the construction is different. There are no notches on the sides of the bracelet, which now is smooth. Instead, the pusher indents are on the inside, and only one needs to be depressed. Then the bracelet can come apart as shown here:

Nice, really nice...both the engineering and the look.

    Hello MF,

I think that this micro system is ver nice and seems the new bracelet is from the same quality as the old pyramid version.

Looks nice. Perhaps a bit more cumbersome to add/remove links than the previous design(s), but you only do that once.

Nice clean look, and superlative clasp. I like it!

Glad to see the micro-adjustment back. I believe it is from the Porsche Design Compass watch in titanium ago that we saw that ( I believe ) Seems a but more engineered. Well done IWC.

Very nice constructed new micro-adjust system. I suggest it is as comfortable to wear as the old pyramide bracelet.

That bracelet looks fabulous. I'm seriously considering the new Spitfire but it also looks great on that brown strap. Hmmmmm....

    Thanks for the reports MF.

The new Flieger bracelet doesn't look to have the AT quick release feature. That's a nice touch as well.

Thank you Michael for posting these detailed images.

This bracelet looks really nice and moving the notches to the inside makes it look much more made to fit rather than adjustable.

To me the Mark XVII looks best with the bracelet.

Hey Michael, bring me back one of those comfy looking chairs....I'm sure they will fit in the overhead bin.

    Love the new bracelets!

I wonder if the AT bracelet will also get the micro-adjust/double-pusher clasp...

That is a very nice bracelet, nothing left to desire. My favourite watch up to now is the Spitfire Chrono, that finally for me is the perfect looking watch with a 8936x movement: the absence of the hour counter makes the dial look quieter, very much to my liking. With the bracelet it looks sporty, that would be a nice change to the titanium Inge. But on the brown croc strap it looks sooo classy, maybe more fitting to the ardoise dial: that one is so tempting. Difficult, difficult... I will need to see them both.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

This looks like a wonderful micro engineering success. The micro adjustment option is a really added valuenote specially for the seasons when the small adjustments in wrist size with temperature can be evident.

I wonder whether all bacelets will have this facility and whether we can get the buckle to fit current bracelet models like 2011 pilots and Ingies and ATs?

I like the idea of micro adjustment and the new system as well as the link system looks great - nicely implemented design!

A lot of people scream for micro adjustment on bracelets, however, I for one cant really see the need for them thou - I dont have micro adjustment on my leather / soft strap and I seem to manage with them pretty nicely - I am sure that most others out there who have a watch with a bracelet also have a watch with a soft strap and they also have managed without micro adjustment on their soft straps for years now.

Anyhow - nicely dont IWC, great engineering once again!

    Cheers,

    Ben

I am not quite sure about the soft straps, but certainly the leather straps stretch a bit over time, they mold around the wrist until they fit perfectly, certainly if they are a bit stiff at the start. Metal on the other hand doesn't stretch at all, so the micro adjustment feature is a real treat, also when exersising in summertime, when the wrist gets temporarily a bit thicker.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Not only are IWC giving us great new Watches - but also great new bracelets!

Bendy, I too thought that way, with many bracelets on my Pilots and Aquatimers. Then, I got my CFDV with micro-adjustment bracelet, and realized just what a benefit it is. As Andrew says, hot / cold weather changes etc. and that micro adjustment is great.

    Thank you IWC.

    Best regards
    Mark

If it is anything like the micro adjust on CFDV, it is a very practical addition to an already superb bracelet.

This is how it works: offers often generate demands. Once you've learned that something already exists you wish you had it under your roof too. I'm strongly for micro-adjust clasp for my Aquatimer because I have something like that on a bracelet of another brand and love the advantages it offers. The most striking when you are on the beach and want to wear your watch a bit loose because of possible sweating but want to wear the same watch tight when swimming. Words are just not enough to describe the difference: you have to try it yourself.

    Regards,
    Robert
