    Especially in white.

Who else is looking at picking one of these up?

    Regards,
    Adam

I fell in love with the blue dial la petit prince version but overall the case, price, and design of the new mark XVIIIs are awesome.

The white dial looks cooler every time I see it.

Thanks for sharing your photo's Adam and I totally agree with you! The MXVII oozes real IWC 'DNA' again and the white one is a stunner.

    Regards,

    Bob

I really am loving the white dial. Planned on buying my wife one of the 36mm versions so I may need to reward myself as well!

Me too! I have a blue-dial on order. Hoping it will arrive in June. It was that or the white one and I already had a cream dial Muhle Glashutte with the Flieger design.

I'm planning on replacing my Mk. XVI with a Mk. XVIII as soon as they become available in the States. My source says another month.

I've seen them locally in Vegas for a couple weeks now. The recently just sold the LPP version but said they could get another in within 3 days if I ordered it.

Well, it took five months for a Mark XVIII on strap with a black face to show up at my dealer, but now I've got it. Not a huge difference from my Mark XVI, but a tidier, more vintage-style dial. It's gained about a second in two days, so the accuracy is still unparalleled. The back is cool with the detailed Ju-52 image. The new strap is a little underwhelming, though: It's really stiff---despite putting a bit of leather balm on it---and the smooth finish is a little boring and, as my wife said, "looks plastic-y."

I bought myself the little prince version in August while in Zermatt, it truly is a beautiful watch.

    Kind regards,

I have the silver dial Mark XVIII on order. It should arrive at my local AD in few days hopefully. Sometimes it's good to have a nice thing to wait for :)

I got a deal I could not pass up. I like the white dial the best but was offered the le petite prince variant and I bit the bullet. So far loving this watch. It's fairly accurate as well. I called iwc to find out how much a santoni strap is and was quoted $300 so I might grab the black calf skin as well. Great watch, looks amazing on wrist.

I prefer mark xvii over mark xviii.
IMHO mark xviii is a bit boring and plain

I always wanted to big pilot but when trying it on it was huge for me. I like that the mark xviii has the same face but a 40mm size.
