With hot climate around the corner, or summer on its way, some of us might change their leather straps for something more fitting the heat. A bracelet is a good idea, but not always available. Since a short while there is a practical, colourful, in-house and relatively cheap alternative available: the nylon strap!

I wonder about the choices available:
    [ul]
[li]Are the straps in one piece (NATO) with a curl at one side, or are they also available in two pieces, like the regular straps, with spring bars and the own, regular pin buckle? The latter would be nice to be able to admire the movement.[/li]
    [/ul]
    [ul]
[li]For which lug widths are these nylon straps available? Like, for all the Portuguese, Pilot's and Portofino's?[/li]
    [/ul]
    [ul]
[li]What colour patterns are available? If at all, go wild, like some military colours, or bright red, white and blue stripes.[/li]
    [/ul]

I hope the SIHH visitors have some information: thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,
I was told that the straps we saw at SIHH were pre-production models. They will come in two colours navy and green, also in two lug sizes, one for the automatic, the other for the chrono.
They are not really nylon nato straps as they have a leather inlay. The moment I have more info, I will post it here.

Thx for the info, I'd be happy to know the info. I'd badly need one 20 mm width to accompany my Caramic Fliegerchrono ref. 3705, if possible all-black, black/grey and black/blue. As the material with the leather lining is thought to be stiff enough to resist bending of the peak part it would be nice to have different strap lengths. (For me to fit a 6.75" wrist...)
Thx in advance for any additional info!
    Regards,
    Robert
