It is an incredible watch. I agree.

What would make it perfect would be a variant with a radiant, slate-grey colored dial. I forget what that color is called, but that would be an amazing sight - perhaps with a RG gold case too...

I think they call it something like mud-grey or neither-black-nor-white. If I could only remember the correct name - ARRRRR ;)

    Something like this?
    This is a blast!
That could be something like the ultimate beauty - together with the BP PPC LPP in RG :)

Both new double moon perpetual calendars look spectacular, and an improvement over the previous models. Most importantly, the blue one has a one-colour dial, in my eyes much nicer than the previous model with the silver coloured subdials: the new watch looks so classy and subdued. Is the colour blue used also a bit more greyish, a lesser sharp blue? Looks great indeed. Anybody planning to trade the older blue dial watch in for the new one?

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I love the stars around the moon phase! More artistic than the previous "days to full moon" scale around the moon phase indicator.

The curved watch end strap is a nice finishing touch as well.

BTW, the watch is about 3 months fast. But i'll bet the moon phase indication is accurate for that day.

I still don't know why they used white for the year. They should have used blue or black.

I agree they should haven't used white for the year, a little distracting on the dial. I love the look of the movement and the stars are a nice additive.

I guess it is very difficult to give the year indicators exactly the same shade of blue as the dial, the dial blue having a sunray pattern. And I am quite sure the black alternative would look worse, so the white option chosen probably is the best.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

That new Portuguiser is so wonderful, I barely noticed the "white year display" - but, a blue background would look great - I bet even easy to do. I don't think it would require any of the same "sun Ray" treatment - I just took a photo of the 5022 I am wearing for comparison - it has a year display with dark, grey with white numerals. They could just to dark blue and white numbers - and it would be an improvement.
