The "not forgotten" IWC Mark XV Spitfire LE

The 1000-piece 38mm Tribute to Spitfire from the early 2000s (maybe 2002) Ref 3253-005. The beauty of this watch besides the amazing hands and the small "0" within the 10, was the IWC cashmere scarf that accompanied the watch!

A neo-classic. Done extremely well during some of the brightest times at IWC.

Perhaps it might get cold enough in California to use that scarf soon.

Hi Larry,

Good to see it together with the scarf. The watch also had its own 40 page catalogue and the timeline shown says;

"2000 - The Mark XV Spitfire was unveiled at a ceremony held at London's Imperial War Museum in the presence of active RAF officers and veteran Spitfire pilots."
