The Pilot Watch Automatic Laureus Post.....

The 2022 Pilot Automatic Edition Laureus Sport for Good was announced some
time ago under embargo and it was officially released in October 2021.

Now I thought - This will make a perfect birthday watch for me! So i ordered
one immediately and requested a special number to commemorate my wedding
anniversary. The Boutique told me delivery would be early January 2022, but i
was suprised to get a call in early December that it had arrived :o)

The campfire drawing on the caseback is the winning entry from 12 year old

Just wanted to add that I feel this watch flies a little under the radar and
is technically significant as it is the first example of the calibre 32111
used in production. Also, it is the second calibre 32 with the 5-day power
reserve - afer the shock-absorber. I am curious as to how this new movement
compares to the calibre 82 movements. The cal 82 uses the Pellaton winding
system, adds some ceramic parts and is a bit larger, but is it a better
movement? I am really liking what I see frm the cal 32111 and look forward to
more watches with this movement. Now all that is needed is an antimagnetic
hairspring!
