Is it me alone, or are there others collectors who have the same reflex ; when someone approaches with a camera, I turn my wrist so my watch is shown nicely on the picture. Here is such a pic from friday-evening, I was member of the jury during a quiz. ( best place to sit, you get all the answers before the rest )

If we talk watches, my first nature is to always turn the watch towards my body when I pass close to things that might harm or scratch like walls, doors or similar.

Same here, additionally I bend my wrist in such a way that my hand sticks out a bit, so that the door, wall etc. touches my hand first. I even seek contact to make sure that I don't make an unwanted sudden movement. Rereading this, I think the weekend blues is taking over, I need to go to work again.
