    Hi Tonny,

yes, the Yacht Club I is great. I am also on the hunt for the manual woud one.
But there is a special constraint for the Quartz one. Here i use to follow a
paradigm that once was used in the marketing slogan by another brand.

Since 1991 i have not worn (or even touched) a Quartz piece, and i never will
    do in future.

Here is a manual wind YC I on an original steel bracelet (Which is not as
comfortable as the bracelets in use nowadays).

I'm not that fond of the automatic one (as I normally wear a pocket watch [a
Ref. 5215 Ingenieur pocket watch or an antique gold cased one] and therefore
have to wind the automatics as well manually).

And I dislike all Quarz movements. A watch must tick and must have a swinging
    balance - Fullstop.

Nevertheless: Have one with your Quartz YC I. For sure a rare piece.

I've been tempted to find an automatic Yacht Club based on the 8541B.

As I've never seen one other than in photos, I'm curious - does the size of
the watch (at 36mm) seem significantly larger than other "c-case" watches of
this era, such as the Omega Constellation at 35mm or the Girard Perregaux HF
    at 34mm?

I've often found that actual size and aparent size have a rather inconsistent
relationship, as it depends on the relative size of the dial and other
    factors.

I have the twin of the blue dial version. I think it's one of the most
handsome watches of that era. Plus being tough, waterproof and easy to read.
It failed in it's head to head with the Datejust, I believe, because although
the blue dial is striking, it's too discreet to stand out in a crowd and the
Rolex advertising machine was and is the best in the business.

Have included a pic of mine as one can never get enough of watch pictures.
