Very striking, thanks MF
The Zidane Ingenieur
That is one beautiful Ing. thanks MF
Call me crazy, but I like it, very cool!!!!! nt
nt
I will remember Zidane for two reasons....
First of course as one of the greatest French soccer players ever and second for his action against Italian player Materazzi in 2006 (picture is censored).
Now this very special IWC watch will be the thirth reason I will never forget his name. Looks cool although I have to get used to an Ingenieur in blue.....

A great watch for a far greater player
I believe football is the game of life. It is just like life. There's much agony involved, anticipation, joy, injustice, struggle, success, glory, and even atonement. There is also a time limit. And death. Above prejudism, or segregation both racial and social since the son of a tycoon could play opposite or at the side with the son of a poor peasant.
Football unites more than it really separates.
I believe that Z. Zidane reacted very inappropriate in the case of M. Materazzi incident.
Even more regarding his magnitude that was.
But he is only a man.
Extremely talented but only a man.
Therefore I am very happy that IWC chose him as an ambassador. (I happen to know his work for the children in need but that is another subject).
For that reason I choose to remember Z. Zidane for the thrills and chills he gave me when he was taming the ball.
Furthermore as a true gentleman.
Football unites. I believe IWC also.

Oh wow....I like it!!
Most beautiful
I think this is a great watch to look at. The "10" is very important, IWC avoided the cut-off in an ingenious way. This is in my opinion the best watch in the series, with the ceramic bezel like the environment watch. But "le bleu" is for the French, I wonder whether there are 1.000 French IWC-lovers.
Kind regards,
Paul, wearing Saint Exupéry Chrono
Yum-Yum another wonderful blue dial IWC nt.
Very nice indeed. Looking forward to see it (nt)
Very Nice!! Thank You Michael.
Cool croc strap!!
The dial is very "striking." Thanks for showing ..
the watch.
Very sharp.
Nice to see it hit the light of day>>
I was lucky to see one a while back at an AD here in Zurich who was making their regular "The show after the shows" display. I think that it looks really cool.
Hard to dislike a blue dial...
another great watch to consider.
Really, really nice! Nicky: your next watch?
That's what I call a watch with two faces!
I really like the look of it! The blue and red colors would match my Superman cufflinks nicely. :-)
I'm not so sure about the back though... To me, the face of Zidane doesn't really add any value, rather remove some. But I've always been a fan of standard issue watches. I guess some soccer fans would find it irresistible though.
The front of the watch and the strap is however very, very cool.

I'd give it a '10"!!
Very nice dial
but I am not a fan of the back.
The term "World Champion" is absolutely not correct - in my opinion. He was a member of the team who were winners of the World Cup (coincidentally I had it in my hands on Saturday at a charity football tournament at FIFA HQ - the first Scotsman with the World Cup? with my Mark XVI on show too) and having met several footballers who have been in the team who won the European Cup (or Champions league) - the phrase European Champion just would not be right either.

PS: The strange bump on my hand actually is due to a broken finger sustained in a match.
