The pocket watch on the left is my Italian railway pocket watch, which I have shown here before.

The one on the right is a new acquisition. I bought it because it has an unusual dial, an unusual case and also it has a cal. 65 movement --IWC's first finger bridge movement, and while not incredibly rare I couldn't find the right example before. The case is rose gold and silver.

    Regards,
    Michael

    Very nice Michael...

Do you have pictures of the Cal. 65 movement?

In the museum, I saw this one with a 24 hour dial:

    It looks brand new

Were the dial and hands restored Michael?
They look in a very good condition. Congratulations for your new buy.

P.S I am wondering about your order for quite some time now,
I bet it is a very special one since it's taking IWC so long

                                 Regards

    They look very interesting

As with the pilot's watches I always wonder and admire: these watches were meant for work, no luxury watches. So on the one hand they had to be very precise, on the other hand price was an issue. Still, the finishing of these watches looks wonderful. By the way, as it is not obvious by other objects: these watches look quite big, and, in particular, quite thick. Please, Michael, could you mention the dimensions of these watches?

    Kind regards,
    Paul, wearing Saint Exupéry Chrono

For me? ...Congratulations on your latest

addition to your Pocket Watch collection.

The red numerals seem large. I like them both!

Appreciate your thinking of me, but I want everyone to enjoy thinking in 24 h terms.

    Best from Isobars.

    Well..

I suffer from the same problem ;-)
When I see a 24hr indication or watch I think of you!
You're extremely good in branding ;-)

    BTW: A beautiful watch!

red numerals are a very interesing difference.
    Very ornamental especially the hands.

I have an actual 24 hr wristwatch...

    Hi Isobars
I saw a genuine 24hour dial secondhand wristwatch( not IWC) in a shop and thought of you and bought it to see what it is like--.and it takes some getting used to to read the time. And setting the time seems to take a lot of crown turning.
    Cheers Louis.

    Very fine timepieces

I particularly like your latest acquisition, with the dial showing the minutes at the outer circumference (very nicely old-fashioned).

    Thanks for showing us.

    Dirk
