So as expected, I couldn't just settle for two beautiful IWC's, I had to go ahead and pickup a THIRD in as many months... Wife is soon going to kill me...

Inbound I have a 3568-07 which is the Orange/White AT 2000 and I was curious if anyone could provide me any solid information on this piece?

From what I know - This is a limited production model as many AD's/Customers didn't receive the watch so well. When I try and research it online, I'm coming across a bunch of information (or mis-information) such as:

    Limited Edition to 50 pieces
    Limited Production to 300 pieces
    Limited Protection to 450 pieces
Limited Edition Fanta to the Beverly Hills Boutique

Sigh.. So much crazy info, I thought I would post up here to get the real scoop on this piece... I know for a fact it's limited production and not very well received by most (but, I kinda like orange watches having just sold an Omega Planet Ocean in Orange :))

What are your thoughts on this beautiful timepiece? It should arrive tomorrow and I'll be sure to post up pictures!

I own one and absolutely love it. It is so nice to look at, and very exclusive, you won't see another on any beach.
When I bought mine, I was told one of 50 and I also read one fo 300. In the end, it does not matter. It is rare enough, but the most important is that it made me buy a watch that I would not have bought in either of the 2 "std" iterations.

It is a very unique watch. Limited production means you will see very few indeed. I am not sure what the boutique status was but the watch was produced last year and does not appear to be up for renewal.

    Thanks guys!

Yeah I'm learning it's unique due to the little information I can dig up on it! Value aside as I'm not a watch flipper, I'm pretty excited about obtaining a rare piece of IWC history :)

...seems even IWC is confused.... "white/orange dial is a Boutique Exclusive LE of 300 pcs" is certainly not true. In a number of European countries (including the Netherlands) dealers sold them as Limited Editions, sometimes even with their own backside engravement!

Very very nice watch, wear it in good health!

    Regards,

    Bob

Yeah I tend to agree since this specific piece came from an AD not a boutique :)

As I mentioned before, it seems there is a lot of mis-information about this piece which makes it even more desirable in my eyes! I think I'll hold on to it for quite some time!

The more I see it the more I like it. It is sort of a Doxa version of the AT 2000.
