Time for Da Vinci Tonneau

Hi, Mates!
Primarily I wanted to meet Anthony for a small GTG today. He came the long way from Melbourne to Vienna to join a wedding I think. But unfortunately it was not possible for him to meet in the morning and not possible for me to meet him in the afternoon - so we postponed to next week.
What I should do with the leisure time? I decided to visit the "Timelounge" to follow Jarrod´s advice: trying his most favourite IWC line - a Da Vinci Tonneau. And I found a really nice piece which blew away my doubts immediatly: Laureus Chrono 376404

Beautiful, isn´t it? And compared with my Saint Ex Chrono it felt very lightweighted.
Boom - and then I discovered this one :-) ... a little bit heavier: Kurt Klaus 3762 whitegold limited to 50 pieces

...what beauties they are!

I too was inspired by Jarrod's love of his DaVinci and I asked the IWC boutique whether they had any, but was surprised to learn that they did not.

Not to worry, Vienna has a lot of watch shops - let's hit a few of them next week.

For the record, my visit to the boutique resulted in me falling for something I didn't expect to. It's been said before, but you really have to try the watch on your wrist to learn whether or not it's for you.
