I am considering buying the Perpetual Calendar Engineer Watch with the case in Titanium Aluminum. However I have heard that this is not a scratch resistant material. I understand they might be several types of alloy and that surface treatment might significantly increase hardness and scratch resistance, but one on my friend has a IWC watch with Titanium case (not Titanium Aluminum though), and I noted it is very mcuh scratched. Is anybody with a perpetual calendar able to share experience?
