Well, I have the now classic 3786 a watch very similar to the Top Gun.
Among the pros is definately the special 'touch' of the ceramic material. The black color, the high-tech impression, the semi-matte finish. Ceramic is not especially light, maybe a fraction lighter than the steel version. The combination of the ceramic and the titanium buttons and rear case is also very appealing. I think you have to try it on to really appreciate the looks and feel of the ceramic watch.
Another positive thing with the ceramic is the fact that it is veritable scratch proof! You will not be able to tell the age of the watch by the amount of scratches on the case like on a stainless steel watch as there will be none!

I can only think of one detail talking against ceramics and that is it's fragileness. Well, it's not fragile to daily wear but should you loose the watch on a tile flooring then the casing will most probably crack!
I have taken the consequences of this and bought a folding clasp securing that the watch will never be lost when putt on or taken off the wrist.

I am thrilled by the ceramic material and I enjoy very much to wear my 3786.

    Good luck with the purchase!
