Hi, I'm relatively new to this forum and was wondering if I could get some advice.

I recetly purchased a gently used IW3799 Top Gun Double Chrono which I really like. Its a nice addition to my Big Pilot IW5002.

Shortly after wearing the Top Gun the pusher that operates the split second (i.e. at the 10 location) stopped operating. It didn't make the 'click' like the other pushers and didn't trigger the split second hand.

I took into the IWC Boutique in NYC and they recomend a Full Service. I was wondering if this is a normal procedure vs repairing the pusher?

Also, what I'm experiencing is this a common 'feature' on the double chronos?

Your help/advice would be much appreciated.

    Hi Henners2011,
Please bear in mind that an online diagnosis can never be more than an expressed opinion...
The most likely scenario, reading your symptoms, is that the pusher @ 10 has been knocked. The problem is not with a malfunctioning pusher but rather with the internal damage done to the split second mechanism, that the pusher acts on, when the shock was received.
These components will have to be repaired/replaced for your watch to function correctly. This is why a complete service is necessary.
