Looks like Big Pilot is thus far the most popular watch among Mercedes Formula one drivers as I used to see both Nico and Lewis sporting Big Pilot more often than Portugieser, Ingenieur or Aquatimer. What caught my eye yesterday when Bottas officially joined the team replacing Nico was that he was given ref. 5004 instead of newer 5009. Maybe new old stock or did he inherit Nico's watch ? :-)
