After years of research and comparison, I found Portuguese 7 days is the watch I want. I own one 1 month ago just before Chinese New Year when I was traveling in Italy.
However, I just found the watch is stopped and when I turn over the watch, I noted that the balance spring was dislocated!!refers to the photo
I have never did sport with the watch and the power reserved was by automatic only. For just less than 5 wears and the watch stopped.I was very disappointed with the quality of IWC

Please just get the watch fixed under warranty. We have no way of knowing what might have happened to the watch, including by you, but I'm sure it'll get fully fixed. Good luck.

First of all, congratulations on your acquisition. It is unfortunately that this has happened. After all, it is a watch to be envied and you've made a fine choice.

As said by Michael here, that's what a warranty is for. I'm sure in your many years of research, you may have come across similar cases not only with IWC but with other brands as well. Many things can happen during handling and shipping the timepiece from the manufacture's doorstep to the display counter and eventually to the hands of the customer.

Good luck and I'm sure it will be returned to you better than before.
