Vienna fly away

Dear friends!

At last the new Pilots also landed in Vienna. I had the pleasure to be invited to this great event - and I went there with my lovely wife. (Photo by Katharina Schiffl)

so he enjoyed the female singers in their stewardess uniforms very much ;-)

For some of you this sounds very common: Couples go to a parties. Of course. But this evening was special for me.
The very first IWC-event I joined was the presentation of the Aquatimer. I went there alone. My wife said, she´s not into watches.
Then the 75th anniversary of the Portoguese came - and she joined me the first time, curious about all these strange men spending enormous amounts for watches. She enjoyed although she didn´t try any of these fantastic timepieces there.
But at this evening she said: please save my seat - I go and take a look at the watches. And when she came back she said: Come with me - I want to show you a watch that I adore ... :-)
Got her! So the future could become expensive but I´m not the crazy guy anymore who can sit hours to browse my IWC-Catalogues ...

Very nice watches indeed. IWC, traditionally is more men dominated brand with very few watches for ladies I am afraid but those available are extremely beautiful and nice. The one your wife has chosen is one of the best. She certainly has a good taste. I hope you bought the watch for her at the end.

Even though the music was a big contrast for me ;) - I enjoyed the fantastic hospitality of IWC, Michael & Team Vienna - and had lots of interesting (and really funny) talks with friends..

..and of course admired the beautiful new pilot watches!

I really enjoyed this evening to the max - thanks Chris for sharing and thanks IWC for having me :)

Christian, as a great guy around here used to say " go ahead ....you know you want it!" ..... So take Thang's advice, drop everything and get her that watch. Deep down you know you want her to have it :-)

Looks like it was a great evening Christian. Good to see Michael again - a top ambassador for the brand - I still fondly recall our session in the Vienna boutique.

That's a cool transition with your wife developing a fascination for the brand. That Portofino is absolutely beautiful... it must be hard to resist!

Of course if you splurge for that, then I have to ask... BP Perpetual or still, the BP LPP for yourself? What are you thinking?
