I handled a Vintage Portofino this morning and, as beautiful as it is in pictures, it is nicer in person. I had never seriously considered it because of its size but after seeing it, I may have changed my mind. Despite its diameter, it is relatively slim and the thin bezel and black face make it feel much smaller on the wrist than 46(?)mm. This one was preordered and spoken for but the next one.... :>)

MasterI visited my AD today too...but
my Portofino, which is on
order, has not yet arrived. We spoke with the regional IWC manager who said they were starting to trickle in. Hope mine is part of the trickle.Bill

The details do "pop" more on the white
but the black looks so beautiful and I think probably makes the watch appear smaller on the wrist.
