My one and only IWC, the Ingenieur ref.3227. I have put it on the nylon strap with a stainless steel IWC buckle. It is currently one of my favorite watches! It is quite hard to take it off or to choose another watch in the morning :)

I did found out that there is a little piece of dust hanging on the minute hand and that it's not as accurate as I expected (+7 seconds a day). However, that can be easily fixed of course.

I do wonder about damaging the edges on this watch... Although I am quite careful with the watch, I can imagine bumping it into a table, door, or something like that. What if one of the edges gets damaged.. can IWC do something about it so it will look less worse, or is it something Ingenieur owners have to live with?

Anyway, here are two pictures of my IWC. One on the nylon strap and one taken in a Singapore hotel on a newspaper with a Big Ingenieur advertizement.

    Have a nice evening!

    Best regards,
    Robert-Jan

    great watch.

and bumps will appear no matter how careful you will be.
The first bump is the toughest - but if they are small and only noticeable by the owner close up - I like to call it character.

    I love mine too.

It's a great watch indeed! Mine already has a ding on the left side of the case. I felt very bad at first but got over it in a few days.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens
