It helps to have friends in high places.

This looks almost like an ordinary watch:

But read avid IWC fans know how special this is:

Actually, I was wearing the Sidérale Scafusia only for ahort time. Most of the time I'm wearing a new Worldtimer. Life is tough, but somebody has to do this.

MF, I would be very interested to know your thoughts and comments on the Worldtimer, especially how it feels on the wrist and the 'ease of use'.

    Thanks in advance!

Couched to the point, nothing to add :-).

A moderator with added value we call this. Great that IWC let you wear this one ( on the other hand, it is made for wearing ). Love also to read more on the wordltimer. Have fun.

Since it looks like an ordinary watch will you accept an ordinary watch price? Presume boxes and papers included! If only!!!

    MF, my heartfelt sympathies.

I fully understand the burden of pain put on your shoulders - or should I say wrist, here!

By that, I mean simplyb the pain I can imagine you experience when you need to take it off again. But, I recall the time you were wearing a 1 of CFDV on bracelet - and today you own one of those.... so who knows what, in the future.

Fantastic watch - and i cannot think of anyone more suited and/or deserving of needing to fullfill that task. Enjoy - Enjoy.

    Best regards
    Mark

I couldn't wear it - I'd be too frightened I would put a ding in it.

    Cheers from the cellar

Pretty spectacular! Did it have the Chicago night sky >) ? This truly is a special watch and I agree with your assessment that it likely is "the" watch at SIHH. By the way, the Worldtimer is pretty nice too.

Is the watch so heavy? Seems like a burden for you to wear it. LOL
