It has been quite a long time since SIHH 2012 and IWC is preparing if not prepared already the 2013 novelties.
G.Kern said back in January that in 2013 IWC is getting back on the ground from the skies implying that 2013 might be the Year of Ingenieurs.
I know I am speculating since there is nothing official on this but if this is the case I would love to see a new IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar in SS.
I would also like the Ingenieur Automatic get in the former ref 3227 case size and please no see through case backs no more.
Anything else you would like to see?

    Argiris, great topic...
The Mission Earth with second time zone/GMT function would be immediately on my wishlist.
It may not be the most popular watch due to various circumstances but for me the perfect everyday-sturdy-big-reliable-tool watch. I just love mine!

Argiris, thank you for a topic! Pretty sure that 99% of models are already fixed, but still I would think about Inge with Alarm, successor of this one, but of course in case of 3227:

An Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar in SS would also be one I would love to see rolled out this year!

    Great post Argi.

I'd love to see something new, technically speaking. If not inside an ingenieur, where else?

I'd like to see also a remake of ref. 666 but in a 39mm case and (since it's just for dreaming) with an improved cal. 8541 inside (with soft iron protection also). That would be the perfect watch to me.

Waiting for 2016 when something has to happen, to celebrate 40 years of the Legend.

I would love to see IWC come out with a rubber strap option for the Big Ingenieur ref. 5005 without it costing a bomb, so I can use my Big Ingy for watersports since it is w.r. to 150m, why not use it ? :)

    Best Regards
    Craig

I expect the whole Ingenieur family to look like the 3765 Double Chronograph: a less edgy case than the old 3227 or the current 3236 Mission Earth. Of course there will be a basic Automatic, probably with the 80110 movement and traditionally with an antimagnetic cage. I also expect a Chronograph with the 89365 movement. And maybe a special one: a dual time based on an improved movement that would have been used in the Portofino Dual Time almost two years ago. Oh, if that would happen, then the Portofino Dual Time could appear too, finally.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

A Blue dial GMT would be very appealing.
Alan and I can only hope for!

yeah! we could use a new series of Ingenieurs made of titanum!

Perhaps ceramic too? oh... maybe not. :-)

A PPC Ingenieur would be nicenot that I could afford one.

    3rd posting attempt, hope it's 3rd time lucky(working)
I'm sure we'll see some new AMG models with IWC sponsoring the 2013 Mercedes F1 team.
I do hope the theme will be based on the 3765, as Paul suggested. It's a fantastic looking watch.

Yippee!! It worked. Photobucket gives error messages when I try to upload so used another image server. Their [IMG] code is different so it took 3 attempts to correctly convert it for the forum.
Has anyone else had this photobucket problem?

Would like a ceramic, blacked-out 3765 Inge.... with dark grey, titanium hands and indexes....I know it will not be likely - but would be a knockout!!

Rob no doubt, but 2018 and 150 much more important than 2016 and 40.

Thank you Argi but I really don't think my 50th birthday is so important... LOL!

It could be a good excuse to party though and, for sure, I'll have to celebrate with an IWC.

Maybe a brand new Destriero for 2018?
