    Hello everybody.
Can you say me wht ref. and what caliber has this Yacht Club?
The owner of this watch says that is automatic. Possible?
    I't not a caliber 89?

    Ref. 2611

    Hand-wound C.89

Perhaps only a wrong dial and an C.854 Automatic inside ?!

    Open it for confirmation.

Well, it makes absolutely no sense to speculate.

We just need facts to make an opinion.

So, try to open it for a view to the case number (inside the case back) and the movement and movement number.

If we know those datas, we can talk about fake, etc.

The front view has no hints to a fake !

This is an authentic YC with cal 854. YC also had cal 89s.
To be sure which movement is in that YC you must open the case back.

The YC dates from circa 1976 and the cal 89 movement from 1974.
Congratulations, you have a rare vintage Yacht Club.

You've all got better eye-sight than me. I could make out the case number which dated it to around 1976 but not the movement number and other than seeing that it looks clean and is a manual wind that's all I can say other than
    it's interesting.
    Good luck on the purchase.

    Nice watch.
Not seen one with your colour dial.
I have the same one but with a blue dial.

Make sure you have the seals changed to prevent moisture getting in and damaging the face.

    True workhorse movement.

    Good luck.

Well, my personal value would be < 1500.- euros.

Because the prices of many IWC models, not only vintage, have been decreased since some years, due to the high production amount.

Well, the pricing for those so called "extracts" is really not collectors friendly :-(

You would pay about 300.- Euros for it !
