...losing my hair,
Many years from now.
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine.
If i'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, When i'm sixty-four.

Yeah, well it is my birthday. I will eschew my usual incisive ‘horological’ comment (e.g.,“great photo!”, “gorgeous!”, ” beautiful watch!”, “welcome to the forum!”) I really wanted to use the event as a hallmark occasion to thank Michael and y’all for all that you contribute here. It is a joy for me to log in every day and participate with this knowledgeable group of collectors. I also value the friendships I have made here that have truly enriched my life. It is extraordinary to me that the bond that unites us is an appreciation for a watch company (and their beautiful products) founded in the Nineteenth Century in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, by an American looking for outsourcing opportunities.
The Devine Ms. D sends her regards to all of you she has had the pleasure to meet. She is taking me out this evening for (not to defy any stereotypes!) a dinner involving a large amount of Texas Prime Beef! I am wearing the CFDV for my birthday watch.
